Our Board & Train program includes 10 days of training at our home followed by one month of weekly private follow-up lessons. The follow-up lessons are an essential part of the program and help owners understand how to maintain and apply the skills developed during their stay in their own home and everyday life.
This program is designed for families who want an intensive jump start on their dog’s training. Your dog stays with us for 10 days at our home and training facility, where we work with them throughout their stay on the behaviors and skills that are most important for your family. Because your dog is living with us during the program, training can become part of their daily routine rather than being limited to a single lesson each week. We can work on structure, household manners, leash skills, impulse control, calm behavior, obedience, and other individual training goals.
However, Board & Train is not simply about sending your dog away and having them return “fixed.” Lasting results require owners to understand how to communicate with and manage their dogs at home. That’s why our program includes one month of weekly follow-up private lessons after the Board & Train stay. During those follow-up sessions, we coach you through applying the training in your own environment and help address any questions or challenges that come up once your dog returns home.
